Match Preview

Millwall’s form (W3, D2) has seen them rise to a play-off spot in sixth-place just above Derby, while inner-city rivals Fulham (W4, D1) still have the opportunity to steal automatic promotion from Cardiff (second).
With second-placed Cardiff yet to play Hull and Derby away, Fulham could yet negate Cardiff’s game in hand with three to go. Next, they face Sunderland at home followed by Birmingham away, but with victory against Millwall here, Fulham have a chance to turnaround their 1-1 blip at the weekend and yet again pressure the ‘Bluebirds’ (CAR).
Beating Millwall isn’t an easy feat however, as they have lost just one of their 18 league games in 2018.
The ‘Lions’ (MIL) have slowly crept up on fellow Premiership hopefuls, gaining 17 places in a little over 32 weeks. And with only three league losses at home this season, and their last home loss to Fulham coming back in 1998, Millwall have the potential to rain on the ‘Cottagers’ parade in this London derby.
With an away record that boasts a positive ten-point goal difference from seven wins and three draws, can Slaviša Jokanović (FUL) break Neil Harris’s (MIL) 13-game unbeaten home league run?
Players to watch: Joint-sixth highest goalscorer Ryan Sessegnon (FUL) is on 14 goals this season – five of his goals have been against current top-six sides.
George Saville (MIL) continues to impress and is ten league goals to the good with one assist this season.
Stat attack: Ref Andre Marriner will be in control and in 32 games this season, he’s awarded 89 yellow cards, six reds and five penalties (in total).
In terms of the H2H since 1932, Millwall have 14 wins, Fulham 17 and 12 have been draws (in all competitions).
In those 43 competitive games, six 1-0 home victories have been played out with Fulham winning five of them – Fulham have also won 1-0 three times at the Den.
Four of their last five league meetings have seen under 1.5 goals.
